Saving the Earth: In Your Garden, Farm and the Planet – 7pm on Thursday 10th Nov

The  next Cafe Science tayport event will be at 7pm on Thursday 10th November 2011 as part of the excellent Dundee Science Festival. The venue is the newly opened Harbour Cafe on Broad Street, Tayport, DD6 9AJ.

Dr. Ken Loades from the James Hutton Institute will give a talk entitled “Saving the Earth: In your garden, on your farm and on our planet”.

Come along to listen to Ken talk about the effects of soil erosion on our daily lives and what it means for the future. Then ask him your questions in this lively discussion.

The event starts at 7pm and will last about an hour. Doors open at 6pm.

Launched in March 2011, Cafe Science Tayport is the latest series created in a partnership with Tayport Community Trust, Cafe Science Dundee and the Scottish Government.
