What is Cafe Science?
Cafe Science Dundee is a place where you can have conversations about science over coffee. Come along to one of our informal events to explore the latest ideas in science, engineering, maths and technology. We provide a forum for debating science issues and to making science accountable. Events last an hour and are usually a 20-30 minute presentation followed by your chance to ask questions and join the discussion.
When and where?
Cafe Science Dundee events are held at 7pm on Monday evenings throughout the year, and are kindly hosted at Medina Bar & Grill, 113 Nethergate, Dundee. There is plenty of parking available at the South Tay Street car park, and also limited on-street parking on Nethergate and Perth Road. Parking at these sites are free after 6pm.
Events are FREE and open to everyone. Places are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. For safety reasons we have limited seating for up to 70 people so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. To ensure you are able to get a seat we recommend arriving by 6:30pm. Cafe Science Dundee starts at 7pm and finishes at 8pm.
